Welcome our new Assistant Principal
Hello CoVo Families, I am Jhaël Dragon, and I am excited to join the CoVo Family as your new Assistant Principal. With 18 years of experience in education, I have dedicated 17 of those years to teaching high school math, where my favorite subject to teach was Trigonometry.
The beauty of mathematics and its real-world applications have always inspired me, and I'm eager to bring that passion to my new role, fostering a love of learning that empowers all students to reach their full potential.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, working out, practicing yoga, traveling, spending time with my family, friends and dog Ziggy.

CoVo Three Core Values
Achievement:
All of our students achieve at high academic levels. Our teachers set high expectations and design compelling curriculum using college readiness standards. Scholars are exposed to experiences that help them to tap into their creativity and thus take ownership of their achievements.
Collaboration:
Students get involved and work in partnerships in order to achieve a common goal. We take joint responsibility for our scholars’ success.
Character Development:
Our school community models the values, skills and a sense of social responsibility necessary to become productive citizens. Through the use of social and emotional programs, scholars are taught to think about ways their behavior impacts themselves and others in order to make effective decisions.
